Parentesi Quadra is
a recently established company that started its activity
in 1998, combining historical research with new ideas.
The first proposal was (joining tradition and technical research
of fashionable fabrics for furniture and present design)
a range of bedspreads, cushions and carpets in ecological
fur, with a new interpretation of 1970's accessories of furniture
very "British style"
Many trendy shops have appreciated this production, which
has obtained a great selling success and has been published
on many specialized magazines.
It has been used for several furniture catalogues and television
spots.
"Swinging london" is still produced, renewed in colours and
typologies, and is part of the "history" of the company.
During this process of reinterpretation and revival, it is
automatically born the collection "anni'70",
formed by pony-look leather carpets with zebra or tiger printing,
natural spots
or bright plain colours, non-ethnic, ironical and metropolitan
and the "Softy Fur" collection,
plaids, blankets, cushions in trendy colours. |

In this philosophy of research of "forgotten things" the
"Casentino" collection is an example: plaids and cushions
made by an old and particular wool fabric, re-discovered
and used in a new way.
Absolutely new the "Gallery" collection, a series of carpets
designed by famous artists combining industrial know-how
and traditional craftsmanship, born to be used in modern
houses matching both antique and contemporary design.
The last "creature" is "Furniture",
single pieces of furniture, stools, little poufs, in the Parentesi
Quadra's style. |
